STOCKLEY MATERIALS SIGNS ON FOR ‘ROLL THE DICE CHALLENGE’ AT GEORGETOWN SPEEDWAY
On Thursday (April 19), Georgetown Speedway returns to action with the ‘Battle of the Bay’ event.
The stakes have gotten higher for the Sunoco big-block/small-block Modifieds.
Taylor & Messick of Harrington, Del., previously boosted the winner’s share from $3,000 to $4,000. Chesapeake Paving of Salisbury, Md., increased the green money to $300.
Now, Stockley Materials – with locations in Georgetown and Nassau, Del. – has made the event even more lucrative through a ‘Roll the Dice’ program!
The 30-lap race winner is guaranteed $4,000 (no car registration fee).
With a $25 posted “Gambler’s Fee” the winner receives $5,000.
With a $50 posted “Gambler’s fee, the number increases to $6,000 for just 30 laps of racing!
In addition, the RUSH Late Model Series makes its inaugural Georgetown visit with a 30-lap main paying $2,000 to the winner. Delmarva Chargers and Delaware Super Trucks complete the program.
