Grandview is pushing the fire bottles real hard lately to the point of put one in or don't come back, they seem to be the only track pushing this issue (even Jersey doesn't require this). I'm all about safety but having a hard time being told to install this or don't come back. They don't require a full containment seat or head and neck restraints, don't check suit or fire retardent underwear or shoes for that matter. They look for dates on seat belts but don't say a word when they are not installed in a safe manner, they don't inspect the cars for safety or the fuel cells for that matter.
So I guess what I'm asking for is some opinions on the fire bottles when not much else ever gets checked for safety?
