Ok, let's give some feedback...
Better multi-media experience - More photos, galleries, easier upload etc? Perhaps ability to upload movies?
Yes. However, could those pictures, galleries and such go under their own track link? It's a good way to see from the developer end where your fan base is concentrated.
Things would just need to be monitored however. Yes, there are facebook accounts that literally go live and you can watch the races from home, no admission. Tracks know that this is occurring and some are taking a stance to it. So just a word of caution.
Perhaps a facebook page may be another avenue and have it link over to SJDR.
Do you use the race results? Do you come to the board for them?
Yes and yes. There's a facebook page or two that has "operatives" at just about every track that post updates throughout the night, but ultimately, things get talked about more in depth here.
Would you like to see more photo galleries both from professionals and from users like yourself?
Again, in their own track galleries. Maybe have a weekly photo contest or something... no real prizes, just bragging rights... or if the sponsors want to have a prize, so be it.
Would you like the system to be more dynamic so you can see up-to-date when new messages arrive, thumbs up etc?
How about a feature that you can report users to admin and have actual forum guidelines that people are held accountable to? We're all supposed to be adults here, but we know that doesn't always happen.
Maybe have a feature to add polls and such?
Would you like to see a dedicated iPhone / iPad and eventually Android version of this without having to go to a website?
Yes. Easier access to posting results and updates is much appreciated.
Would a more organized news feed help? Would you like the newsfeed to be a part of the message board or would you rather it be separate?
News and results can be separate and the forums that correspond with them can be as well. Also, categorized by things like... Sprints, Modifieds, Late Models, All Other Classes. There's times where a thread currently gets super long and once it is off the first page, it dies because it doesn't refresh to the newest reply.
