This past Saturday I was sitting in the 4th turn area at Grandview, like every Saturday night. During a yellow flag a big part, I thing a shock or fire extinguisher fell off a car. The corner worker was sitting on the wall facing the infield, not paying any attention to the track. Drivers drove around it, but Brett Gilmore stopped next to it, and sat there and revved his engine to try to get the corner workers attention, still no response for the worker, still sitting on wall facing infield. So our whole section of grandstand stood up and yelled, wake up, wake up, now he looks around and goes and picks up the part. 2 weeks ago, the grandstand next to us, including the security officer were yelling at him for some other part on the track. I just said I thought it was dangerous and someone might get hurt if hit them, and i asked if the corner worker should not be facing the track to see what is going on, i posted this on facebook, but someone from Grandview deleted it saying it included foul language, or incorrect info. After reading it , does anyone see any foul language?, and as far as incorrect, I dont think so i was sitting right there and was one of the people yelling for the dude to wake up. I do not want to get hurt by flying objects and one way to combat that is to have the track workers pay attention.I mean I understand if you just dont see it, but not even facing the track for sure you are not going to see it.  Just my opinon. Thanks for letting me rant.
