I was reluctant to respond to this post but I just thought it might bring to light a few things that might not have been considered before the post about how tall the grass was. First off Georgetown isn't a weekly venue, so the grass not being cut weekly is not as much of a concern as it would be if they ran every week. Secondly,  Mr Deyo took a big risk not to mention  a surmountable task in bringing it back. The list is too long to comment about on how much work and money Mr Deyo laid out to bring Georgetown basically back from the dead. There would be no racing all at Georgetown.  The fans there can see with their eyes the BIG improvements done at the facility. Can it be more and better? Sure it can and more than likely if he can make it remain profitable my bet is the fans will see even more. Most events there the place is packed.........thats not by accident. Tall grass between events is a small price to pay in lieu of no racing at all or a penny pinching, lazy promoter  Kudo's to you Mr Deyo for all your hard work and dedication
