Back in the day they used to use "Drag Tires" which to me just meant bigger tires!Was that the only diffrence? Also back in the day, Flemington dirt, sportsman's ran small blocks mostly Chevy's and modifieds ran big blocks Chevys and that was it. Now its all over the place crates, small blocks, big small blocks , big blocks etc very confusing. What makes a track a big block or small block track as it pertains to mods? I always though all modifiers back in the day were big blocks and you compensated with gearing?
