Billy Pauch Sr was invited but he turned down his invite. Junior wasn't, which is definitely a bummer because he definitely deserved to be there over quite a few of the guys there based on talent. As some previous guys mentioned, the invite list was offered first the teams that ran more DIRTcar races (Seniors recent runs at Volusia had him ahead of Junior in that regard) or at DIRTcar sanctioned tracks in recent years.

As for the whole, "unfair treatment" and "treating racers and promoters badly"... when? Can you actually name any examples? My favorite is when the people that say stuff like that are the same people that say "DIRT needs Donnelly back," despite the fact that HE was the one that did that.

Since the newer regime took over about 10 years ago (not the original Boundless, I agree, they sucked) they've been pretty damn good for the sport, despite some people just seeing the name DIRT and assuming it's the same old stuff.

The rivalry between Deyo and DIRT has been fantastic for the sport. Three years ago there were 17 races that paid $10,000 or more to win... that number has more than doubled since then, there are 38 scheduled this year! Here's the best part, friends, you're allowed to watch and enjoy both! I certainly do!
