RIngoes,NJ – ARRAAuto Racing Research Associates continue to add files and new pages to their ever expanding auto racing statistics website!

ARRA President and one of the founding members of the organization, Fred Voorhees sends word that two new additions have been uploaded just over the past day or two and they include some looks back at our New Jersey racing history.

The first addition goes back and takes a look at the exciting history of the Flemington Speedway and its relationship with and the race by race history of the United Racing Club (URC) sprint car traveling series.  First appearing at the Hunterdon County speedway back in 1956 and won by Lou Johnson….to the one and only appearance of URC on the wicked fast Flemington asphalt surface in 1993 and claimed by Gary Hieber, this file has been brought out of the ARRA archives and brought to life as a new file added to the Flemington Speedway page.  We invite all Flemington, URC and all other fans to take a look at: https://sites.google.com/view/tracks-series-organizations/flemington-speedway?authuser=0

Then….ARRA early racing era expert Bill Skinner comes up with another great addition to the ARRA website with a new page added to the site and it covers the early 1950’s racing at Jersey City, NJ’s  Roosevelt Stadium!  Currently a work in progress…Bill has already submitted work on years 1951 through 1953 and also 1955.  Interested fans can access this new page at: https://sites.google.com/view/tracks-series-organizations/roosevelt-stadium-jersey-city-nj?authuser=0
