AJ Foyt Kicks Off ARRA Expansion!  

Addition of A.J. Foyt begins ARRA National Growth Effort!

Ringoes,NJ – Auto Racing Research Associates (ARRA) just recently launched a long term effort to expand the coverage of their research efforts from a generally focused area of the Northeast, to a scope that takes in the entire country.  In one of their first steps to move in that direction, President Fred Voorhees is proud to announce that the All Time Career Win Record of none other than widely known Anthony Joseph (AJ) Foyt has been added to the list of drivers on the website.

   Courtesy of ARRA historian Ken Parrotte and his collaborator John McCullough, the polarizing driver from Texas joins the list of top flight drivers who have their careers documented on the always growing ARRA website.  “ARRA member Tom Schmeh had been on me for around a year or so to expand our horizons.”, Voorhees opened up about the expansion.  “To be perfectly honest, I was a bit intimidated about making such a big step to expand our research to across the country!  But it’s the next logical step and this page on A.J. Foyt is part of the cornerstone of that just begun effort.  I want to take this opportunity to also mention that another cornerstone of that new effort will be announced soon.  It will entail a completely new section of the website and introduce another facet of the research effort in the combined libraries of ARRA as a whole!  I think it’s going to be a great addition!”

Auto Racing Research Associates is a group of two dozen auto racing historians across the country banded together for the purpose of the research, documentation and displaying of auto racing history such as driver win statistics, as well as track, racing series’ and organizations histories and also the background of racing personalities, particular cars from the past and various other interesting facts of racing history that should not be forgotten.  ARRA continues to build a network of associated auto racing related websites to unite for better chances of furthering the understanding of the past of our sport.  ARRA offers looking up services for those looking for one particular piece of information from the past.  We encourage you to visit our new website if you have not had the pleasure yet.  You can visit the new A.J.
