The popular Wingless Weds.races at Shellhammer Dirt Track consisting of the 125,270 and 600 micros ,along with the All Star and Junior Slingshots and the Stage 1 Mods have 10 weeks remaining on their 2021 schedule to crown the point champions. The point fund that was established in 2020 and paid out over $11,000 to the deserving drivers will continue in 2021.
Average WW car entries so far this year is 97 cars.Leading the way is the 600 micro class with a 23 car weekly entry average.
The July 7th "Golden Hammer" night of racing paid out over $12,000 to it's A Main participants.
All A Main drivers get a payout at Shellhammers.
Shellhammer's starts hotlaps at 6 PM,qualifying is 10 minutes after the final hotlap checkered with a midrace intermission of only 15 minutes.
General admission is only $8.00 for an adult.12 and under are free.Pit passes are a very reasonable $20 and car entry is $30 for all classes but the Junior Slingshots,which is $20.
Concession stand is family affordably priced with a nice menu of food and beverage items.
There is the Lucky Wristband Concession Stand Voucher passes that will go to winning GA fans and pit pass purchasers by luck of the wristband #.It rewards the winner with a $10 voucher for their food and beverage choices.Also JMF Inc has created the Fan of the Week that a lucky fan's wristband will give them a free pass for an upcoming race and a hot dog and beverage at the concession stand.
Full track visibilty can be seen from any grandstand seat.
The RFRHS / Dave Cordier,Sr. Memorial for the All Star and Jr.Slingshots will be run Monday and Tuesday nights August 2nd and 3rd with the Stage 1 Mods joining in on the 2nd.
Shellhammer's is located right off of State Rte 61 north of Leesport.20 minutes north of Reading and 10 minutes south of Int 78.
