ARRA Announces New Sister Website Detailing Maryland Stock Car Racing

Ringoes,NJ – On the heels of announcing its newest track history page (Shangri-La/Tioga) to its ever growing website of racing statistics….Auto Racing Research Associates, ARRA, is proud to announce that it has gained another “Sister Website” to its family of websites dedicated to keeping our auto racing history alive and well.

“Maryland auto racing historian Al Torney and I have had occasional contact over the years in relations to research I had been doing.” stated ARRA President Fred Voorhees.  “Al has been help along the way and is another example of the contacts we maintain “out there” who we occasionally call on when we need information that is specific to their geographical area and their knowledge.”

Torney got in contact with ARRA recently, asking to become one of their network of auto racing websites dedicated to auto racing history.  “I am always interested in helping the history of our sport remain in the minds of fans and Al is interested in becoming one of our associated websites…all the better for the sport!” noted Voorhees of the newest addition.  Welcome to the newest fellow website member!  Those interested in checking out the newest website are invited to visit it here: http://www.mdscrhof.org/

Auto Racing Research Associates is a group of over two dozen auto racing historians across the country banded together for the purpose of the research, documentation and displaying of auto racing history such as driver win statistics, as well as track, racing series’ and organizations histories and also the background of racing personalities, particular cars from the past and various other interesting facts of racing history that should not be forgotten.  ARRA continues to build a network of associated auto racing related websites to unite for better chances of furthering the understanding of the past of our sport.  ARRA offers looking up services for those looking for one particular piece of information from the past.  They are the official statistics information source of the Flemington Speedway Historical Society and have been doing much of the research work for a number of years for the Northeast Dirt Modified Museum and Hall of Fame in Weedsport, NY.
