My comprehension skills are just fine there Moddie. Perhaps it's yours that need a fine tuning. 


If you read the article in the paper or in the Email from Brodix (assuming you can read) it very plainly says the cutter touched the aluminum. When you do valve jobs on two year old heads, the margin of error decreases. The grinder touched the aluminum is another way of sying it was a machining error.


 Was it a violation? Technically yes. But I guess it's dependant on how badly you want to move your car up in the standing. Was it cheating? I doubt it. Was it intentional? I doubt that. Grinders have been known to touch things they're not supposed t. I've got a nice reminder of that on the back of my hand as proof.


The big questions we should be asking is if the heads are illegal, why did the track seal the engine in the first place and why did Fred want the heads checked when Gular was only protesting the bore and stroke?

answers over the noise from the chirping crickets.
