I hope to see handicapping next year as well to give the best show possible. I dont think it would have mattered Friday however, as it was a pure horsepower surface staying damp and fast all night and the 5g and 20 would have most likely still been up front.      Looking back to last year, Steven Drevicki was on that other level by himself enroute to his third straight title. The Gallagher 5g was a revolving door of drivers with some success. Briggs Danner deserves credit for making that team better.  The Hummer 20 and Alex Bright didnt make their debut until August 2020, and you could see that team gelling at the end of last year. It was a changing of the guard type year with Drevicki being a part-timer with the series and we had two teams fill the gap instead of one.         Both Bright and Danner stated they may be looking for bigger opportunities next season. Alex wants to run more midwest 410 shows if they can get some help and has dabbled in the wings. With the passing of car owner Bill Gallagher and sale of the team to Mike Heffner, I think we could see more wing races for Briggs in the future. Both could possibly be part-time with the ECS in '22.       I think that is how the series will be, successful teams and drivers reach the top and then use it as a stepping stone of sorts. That opens the door for the next top-tier teams to emerge.
