ARRA Welcomes Indy Car Racing to Its Site!!
Ringoes,NJ – ARRA – Auto Racing Research Associates is proud to announce that they now have the presence of Indy Car racing within their pages. Since its formation, ARRA has featured very little in the way of Indy car style racing. With the addition of this new page, which features 317 files…each one detailing the driving career stats of a driver who ever won an Indy car style event.
Whether it came in Champ Car World Series (CCWS), United States Auto Club (USAC), INDY CAR, Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART), IndyCar Racing League (IRL) or Automobile Association of American (AAA) competition, it was recorded as an Indy car win and we have recorded it here….updated right to the end of the 2021 racing season. Complete records of every driver who ever won one of these Indy type racing events.
“I stumbled across this website as I was roaming around the internet looking for reliable information.” revealed ARRA President Fred Voorhees. “My original plan was to simply record the top twenty five winners in Indy Style racing. But the website, ChampCarStats.com provided such a wealth of information and statistics that it would have been silly not to collect a complete collection of winners statistics. I was so impressed with the site…I have been trying unsuccessfully to get a hold of who is behind the site so I could chat with him or her and ask if they would be interested in coming on board at ARRA to be our Indy racing expert and historian.”
ARRA is in the hunt for an Indy car type racing historian to add to their membership to spread the boundaries of their statistical world on their website.
Auto Racing Research Associates is a group of almost thirty auto racing historians across the country banded together for the purpose of the research, documentation and displaying of auto racing history such as driver win statistics, as well as track, racing series and organizations histories and also the background of racing personalities, particular cars from the past and various other interesting facts of racing history that should not be forgotten. ARRA continues to build a network of associated auto racing related websites to unite for better chances of furthering the understanding of the past of our sport. ARRA offers looking up services for those looking for one particular piece of information from the past. They are the official statistics information source of the Flemington Speedway Historical Society and have been doing much of the research work for a number of years for the Northeast Dirt Modified Museum and Hall of Fame in Weedsport, NY.
