As Mother Nature continues to lead in the overall wins for the 2022 season ,the 6 Wingless Weds classes have had 5 weeks of racing on the high banked 1/8th mile.
The 600 micro class has been the most diverse with no one having more than 1 feature win as the list of 2022 winners goes as follows: Bradley Brown / James Morris / Connor Gross / Tim Buckwalter and Dan Lane,Jr.
Louden Reimert started the 270 micro season with 2 wins then turned the victory lane ceremonies over to Dakota Barlet, Richie Hartman and Matt Hoffman.
The 125 micro's have really been putting on a show this year with Chris Dolan notching his 2nd win last week after taking the season opener.John Maurer,Chase Layser and AJ Gerhart also have wins this season.
Dominating the Junior Slingshots so far this season is 3 time winner Chase Schott with single wins going to Chase Zimmer and 9 time 2021 winner Ryan Rochelle.
As a Super Saturday regular @ Shellhammers Jax Yohn was always near the top of the final rundown and he is making Shellhammer's his Weds. night home and continuing on with 2 wins in 2022.Dylan Hoch,Dave Carraghan and Ryan Raidline are on the 2022 win list in the All Star Slingshot class.
The Richie Smith created Stage 1 Mods have averaged 18 entries per week and one of the double duty regulars is atop of the win list so far this season.AJ Gerhart has 2 victories.Anthony Chrobak took the opener with 2021 S1 Point Champion ,Matt Mertz getting thr April 27th checker.Mike Glass took last week's win.
Shellhammer Dirt Track continues to offer one of the best payouts in small car racing as a class entry minimum of 15 will have the winner getting $500 and the nice starting money of $50.
