With the annual vacation week over,the stars and cars of Wingless Weds. will be returning to the Race Track by the River,Shellhammer Dirt Track for a night of racing on the banked 1/8th mile located right off of Rt. 61 1 mile north of Leesport,Pa. on Weds. August 24th.
Car count averages are over 100 cars with a max of 139 and the lowest night having 89 entries.
The top paying track per car entries and one of the best track surfaces,has given many teams a savings on tires,due to lack of tire wear.
The weekly payout for any of the 6 classes with 15 cars entered is $500 and $50 to take the green,that includes the Junior Slingshot class.
At the 2021 Awards Banquet,Cordier Family Productions paid out over $14,000 in point fund money.
The $10 lucky wristband concession stand voucher along with the fan of the week voucher will be ready to be claimed by fans and pit crew members.
Pit passes are $20 and grandtsand admission is $10.Concession stand menu and prices are quite fan friendly.Racing continues through the end of September.
