WORLD FINALS  

Just a few observations after attending my 8th World Finals in Charlott. Where was everyone? Not a sell out for first time in last few years. Was four days to much, or was the cost too much? Big blocks were definitely the best of the show. Tim Fuller is one class act as he drove a clean race on Friday night. Saturday big block was also great. Late models were pretty good, but the announcers were terrible. They couldn't shut up with all their on going chatter of no interest to race fans. Weather was best ever compared to last few years. Sprints were good but would rather have seen Gravel give better showing. And finally, no banquet for Champions? Stop by the pits after the races and celebrate Champions in the rain.
