FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASE, WITH OUR THANKS

East Coast Dirt Nationals Micros Rise To 70 With Three Car Hummer Motorsports Entry; Billy Pauch Jr., Alex Bright, Kyle Spencer Aim For Victory Feb. 24-25 In BELFOR Property Restoration Events Inside Trenton’s CURE Insurance Arena
Trenton, NJ - The level of competition for the East Coast Dirt Nationals Micro Sprint race increased dramatically Monday with the receipt by Indoor Auto Racing Series officials of a three team from Hummer Motorsports.
Bob Hummer, Jr., whose Belvidere, NJ-based team has fielded cars nationally, will have Billy Pauch, Jr., Alex Bright, and Kyle Spence in the seats of his three state-of-the-art cars on Feb. 24-25 inside CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, NJ for the two day BELFOR Property Restoration races.
The East Coast Indoor Racing Dirt Nationals will be returning after a two year hiatus.
The event, which will feature the wingless 600 Micro Sprints, was not held in 2021 or 2022 due to COVID virus gathering restrictions.
In 2020, Jon Keller, 36,  left fans speechless and wanting more as he ran the alphabet soup advancing from the E-Main to the A-Main event. The Salem, N.J. driver then started dead last in the 40 lap A-Main and captured the victory with a last lap pass. Keller prevailed over Kenny Miller, Billy Pauch Jr. and Erick Rudolph in a wild finish for the ages.
Pauch, Jr., a near winner of the 2020 race, Bright, who contended victory in the two previous East Coast Dirt Nationals, and Spence who has also been a threat in past races, will be battling for the win and not just among one another.
Miller, who lost the lead to Keller on the final lap in 2020, has entered the race looking for  redemption in 2023 driving a car owned by Lou Cicconi, Jr.
“Each year we held the event, the racing has gotten better and better culminating with the best race ever in 2020.  We had all the momentum heading into 2021 and then the world shut down!” stated promoter Len Sammons.
“Bringing the event back has been my top priority and I am excited to see it return in 2023.”
The most notable challenger might very well be Owings Mills, MD  standout Stephen Snyder Jr., who won more Micro Sprint features, 13, than any other driver in 2022.
Four drivers going to post in the East Coast Indoor Racing Dirt Nationals will have raced indoors already this year.
Kyle Lick, who will be driving his father’s Micro, Tim Buckwalter will be driving the highly touted Barry Greth Micro, Tyler Lindsay will be driving the Lindsay family Micro, and Briggs Danner will be hustling a Micro owned by Dave Bodine.
Wingless Sprint ace Eric Jennings, Adrianna Delliponte, whose No. 22A Micro received a Best In Show trophy for Open Cockpit cars at the PPB Motorsports Show, outgoing Aqua Duck Ms. Motorsports Morgan Rochelle Bealer, and the talented Scott brothers Lavar and Wayne, who were sensational in the 2020 East Coast Indoor Racing Dirt Nationals, are among those who could be in contention for the A-Main victory.
The East Coast Indoor Racing Dirt Nationals will be run over two nights as a one-division Micro 600 race.
Friday night will feature heat races and A-Main Qualifiers for all entries, with passing points earned for each race and position gained.
On Saturday night, the top performers from Friday will be locked into the A-Main with the remaining competitors slotted into mains E through B with a chance to advance and lock themselves into the main event.
Event sponsorship ranging from title sponsor to “Dirt” sponsors are available and being actively sought to help support the event.  Interested parties should contact Danny Sammons at 609-888-3618 or via e-mail at danny@aarn.com.
