Simply Put,Great Track Surface,Great Racing.

For the fans that attended the Apr. 19th racing program,it was a night of excitement from qualifying to A Mains.

The 112 entries were treated to a Dave Cordier prepped racing surface that provided 3 and 4 wide racing.

The 125 micros had 18 cars slated for the A Main. This one went green to checker and there was no denying 5 time winner in 2022 Chris Dolan of his 1st win this year..The 7D was on rails as the battle was shaping up behind him.Easton Miller and last weeks winner John Maurer swapped the runner-up spot for 4 laps until Miller got the nod with the white flag waving. With no cautions A.J. Gerhart was picking up spots quickly near the end to get a 4th place finish from his 12th starting slot.Dylan Yiengst and Sam Borger were not to be denied good runs getting 5th and 6th.

For the 19 Junior Slingshots it was great to see some new faces in some high places. Chase Schott continued his early season dominance for win # 2. It wasn't easy in the early going as Hailey Eroh,Daniel Betz and Miles Zehner all were quick. from the initial green.Eroh, who was the early race leader warded off the 77 of Betz for 2nd with Betz getting the 3rd place payout. The 4th,5th and 6th place finishers,Anthony Speece,Kaiden Klotz and Gavin Wolfe gave the fans a 3 car battle to keep an eye on.

If you thought a green to checker non-stop 25 lapper would produce train racing ,guess again. There wasn't any single file stretches anywhere in the field and with respect shown by the slower cars, they gave winner Dan Lane.Jr. all the room he needed to take the win over a fast closing Richie Hartman.3rd place runner Wayne Scott puts his #10 micro into spots not used by anyone else in getting the final podium finish of 3rd.Again 4th,5th and 6th became the late race show with Matt McAnally,Dakota Barlet and Tyler Henry racing a clean 3 wide for 2 laps.USAC East hotshoe Briggs Danner slotted in for a strong 9th place run.

Richie Smith's Stage 1 Mods have been a solid addition to Wingless Weds and the 18 car main event packed some punch last night as Ryan Raidline moved to this class from the Slingshots and with no bad luck slowing the 00 rode on for a 1/2 second win over former point champ Matt Mertz.Challenging Mertz was Bryce Dodig in the sharp looking # 4.Great to see good rides for Johnny Fugelo,Stephen Smith III and Jay Garris to slot in behind the top 3.

It was the Dylan Kuronya Show in the 270 micros as he pushed back all efforts by his competitors to overtake him once Matt McAnally hit to retire from the event with mechanical issues on lap 4.Once the last yellow was thrown,Kuronya was wired in for the win with Alex Reinsmith notching a solid 2nd with Richie Hartman getting 3rd.It seemed like the next 3 spots were attention getters in all events and this one wasn't any different.Adam Buchel,Matt Hoffman, who was as high as 2nd and Jarrett Imler wheeled and dealed for these spots.

Ending the night was another thriller with the All Star Slingshot of Nolen Layser using the high side in the early going getting around Tyler Hoch to post his 1st win of the new season in the 3L hotrod. With 5 to go 2nd place was undecided with Hoch,Jax Yohn and Brett Bieber looking for the quick line around the high banked oval.Bieber could not get by Yohn and settled for 4th.Strong showings by Colton Williams,David Galloway and Tess Horvath would round out the top 7.Tucker Cole improved 4 spots to finish 8th from his 12th starting post.

The guys and gals came to race,Dave Cordier gave them a great surface to show their talents as many of the races were not decided by car lengths ,but by inches.

Another top notch show is planned for April 26th at the Race Track by the River.Bring a friend, they will enjoy the evening of speed.
