New Jersey 101.5 top-rated morning drive radio host, Bill Spadea, will be on hand Saturday to meet fans and wave the green flag at the New Egypt Speedway. The Boston University graduate and eight year veteran of the US Marine Corps, Bill is a vocal advocate for working and middle class families.

 "Bill's compassion and advocacy for small business owners in our state and his previous morning topics on racing in New Jersey make him a perfect fit to welcome our drivers, crews, and fans", said New Egypt Speedway operator Rick Grosso.

The father of two, Bill and his wife Jodi have been married for 27 years and reside in Princeton, NJ. He regularly hosts music festivals and comedy shows in the New Jersey/New York area.

With three of the first five racing programs lost to Mother Nature, the fans and competitors alike are anxious for Saturday night's program. Heading the strong field of modifieds expected to be on hand will be current point leader Ryan Godown. The winner of the two features presented this season, the four time track champion will find his stiffest competition in the thirty lap main event coming from Matt Stangle, defending track champion Brandon Grosso, former track champion Billy Pauch Jr., Louden Reimert, Justin Grosso, and Jack Butler just to name a few.

Joining the powerful modifieds will be the 602 Crate Sportsman led by defending champion, Joe Toth, 4-Cylinders, Rookies, and the MASS 305 Sprint Cars. Making their return to the speedway after a lengthy absence will be the Factory Stocks.

Grandstand gates swing open at 4PM with hot laps scheduled for 5PM and racing promptly at 6PM. Emily Hazleton of Lindenwold, NJ will be on hand to sing our National Anthem. A reminder to all drivers and car owners, payouts will be handed out at the end of each feature
