The Late Bryan Clauson Is Added to ARRA Website Researched Drivers List

Rngoes,NJ – Sacramento, California born Bryan Clauson didn’t wait long to get his feet wet in dirt track racing.  At just two days after turning sixteen years old…Clauson hopped into a USAC Sprint car and garnered a third place podium finish at the Limaland Motorsport Park facility.  It was just the beginning of a wildly successful, but tragically shortened driving career that sparked fans across the nation.

Garnering national attention with his exploits behind the wheel of open wheel dirt track machines, Clauson began to get noticed and was offered rides in both ARCA and NASCAR Busch Series events, as well as running in the Indianapolis 500, but short track dirt racing in open wheeled machines was his love and he made his return a successful one as he would capture the coveted Golden Driller trophy which only comes your way if you win the prestigious Chil Bowl Nationals.

Competing in an August 6, 2016 Belleville Nationals Midget event…his 116th of a planned 200 for the 2016 racing season, Clauson was caught up in a wreck involving two other cars….sending him in critical condition to the area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the following evening.

“ARRA is proud and honored to erect a page memorializing the racing career of the late Bryan Clauson.” stated ARRA President Fred Voorhees.  “Kudos to fellow ARRA historian Tim Quievryn for this submission and the work put into the project to bring it to life on our website!”  Those interested in viewing the Clauson page can do so at:
