Top Talent Bobby Santos Joins the Growing List of ARRA Researched Drivers!!!
Ringoes,NJ – Nationally known driving talent Bobby Santos is the second driver this week to earn a page on the ever growing national auto racing statistics website based out of the national group of historians known as Auto Racing Research Associates or ARRA for short.
From midgets, sprint cars, USAC and ISMA Super Modifieds, to the national scene of ARCA and the NASCAR Busch Series….Santos also found success on the NASCAR Whelen Modified tour….scoring the series championship in 2010 for popular car owner Bob Garbarino. Let the two ARRA historians who did the Santos research expound on his career.
"Bobby Santos is one of the last true 'anything-anywhere-any time' drivers, and he gives us New Englanders some bragging rights on the national open-wheel scene. There's no denying that he's a generational talent like A.J. Foyt or Parnelli Jones or even Mario Andretti." Says Justin St. Louis who is not only an invaluable historian member of the ARRA group, but a gentleman that is climbing behind the racing scenes as of late, taking managerial posts within racing organizations.
Fellow ARRA historian Nick Teto worked along with Justin to compile the stats on Santos and had much to praise about Bobby Santos!

He won at Star Speedway driving a Supermodified when he was 13. Since then, I've watched him race ARCA, Big Cars, Midgets, Modifieds, Sunoco Modifieds, Supermodifieds, and TQ Midgets. His versatility has brought him prestigious victories like the Boston Louie Memorial and the Night Before the 500.” Nicky revealed on his findings and experience watching the talented Santos.
“I was in attendance when he swept the Big One at Stafford over Dave Steele and a veteran field. That was a popular win with three generations of his family in victory lane. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is one of the premier touring series in New England. When he was 25, he brought Bob Garbarino's Mystic Missile team their third championship in four years.”
