The popular Wingless Weds. racing programs at Shellhammer Dirt Track will see some added events coming up in the next few weeks.

Kicking it off will be the Mason Dixon 270 Racing Series Challenge on June 23rd that will pit the Shellhammer regulars against the M-D Touring group. A tentative deal has been struck that has the track paying the winner's share if a MD tour racer wins and the MD Tour will pay the winner's share if a Shellhammer regular wins. That will be part of the regular 6 division program.

On June 30th,it's the AG Productions promoted Rumble by the River 12,that will pit the lowest 6 drivers in 600 micro points with the minimum number of races required to have a 12 lap main event with the winner getting at least $222.22 with added monies and product sponsors spread throughout the field.Shellhammer Dirt Track has now added a RR tire to the growing list of race additions. This is a way of making a dismal season whether it be from motor issues, handling issues or just some horrid luck,a little more positive.Geezer Fanelli and Joe Adams are taking added sponsor requests.

Then on July 7th,it's Golden Hammer Night with a 5 class show, running for increased payouts for all 5 classes, with the regular night entry fees and pit pass costs remaining the same. The Stage 1s will have the night off. 600 micros will be running for 1000 to win ,500 for 2nd,400 for 3rd down to 100 for 6th with all A Main drivers gettign at least their 50.00 pit pass and car entry money back.Time trials will lock the top 10 into the 30 lap A Main. Junior Slingshots and 125 micros will be running for 500 to win with all A Main cars getting paid. The All Star Slingshots and 270 micros will have a 750 top prize for their 25 lap main events, again with all A Main qualifiers getting a payout envelope.

Shellhammer Dirt Track runs Wingless Weds. every week except for the August 18th shutdown night.Sept. 29th will be the last night of racing.

A great night out at family affordable prices.ONLY $8.00 for an adult general admission with Shellhammer's serving some of the best concession food at very reasonable prices.

3 and 4 wide racing on a well prepped speedway is the norm at the "Race Track by the River" located right off of Rt 61 in Leesport,Pa.
