No qualms saying the modifieds were the show of the evening.  I had Pa. sprint car fans sitting behind me and in front of me tonite and witnessed all their jaws dropping watching the Foley Cat mods.  I'm glad I chose to go instead of watching on Flo.  Great field and great hard racing.  Still scratching my head what got the 32 all bent outta shape in that altercation which haddem both disqualified.  I think they both shoulda been allowed to run the feature but the call was ok compared to just DQing one of them. I hope cooler heads prevail.

The Modified's were the Best Show of the evening, The only thing the USAC Sprint Drivers shown is that they are a bunch of Primadonnas complaining that the Track surface was to Slick, Smooth, and Dusty and that they would need Studded Race Tires to get around it, Typical Spoiled USAC Drivers!

Wow typical spoiled usac drivers. That's a strong statement. I guess after you hear for weeks on end that Bridgeport is just like Lawrenceburg(which it's not). Then hear about this great surface they always have and then are presented with what they got, maybe they felt like they have been duped. It's ok tho. Track prep came out and dumped a ton of water on top of the already slick hard track to ensure a dust storm that made it hard to see from the stands. Maybe had it been opened up a little so the water went in the surface instead of on top things would have been better. But what do I know I'm just a fan of spoiled racers and not a fan of the same old Modifieds that never get any better. Off to Selinsgrove for more spoiled racing.

Maybe the 32 got all bent cause he is tired of what the yellow 1 did to him. Gotta love a supposed all time great gets it given to him so he fired up his car and intentionally drove up on the hood of a parked car after checkers. Real class from what a clown behind me last nite explained as an all time great. Please. Showed his colors again just like the last 40 years. It never changes. He should be parked for a month after that stunt. Just a spoiled usac fan so what do I know.

Didn't even know they raced last night because Bridgeport does not post here or on 3-Wide.

The track did stink for wingless racing. But it always does out here regardless of the track. I've been to many of the wingless races, ever since CRA came out in the 90's. New Egypt was great the night we got a thunderstorm in the afternoon just prior to start time and the race between Tony Elliot and the Gasman at Lincoln was the one that made me a traditional sprint fan for life. If you're not getting blasted with clay past the flag stand in warm ups, it's probably going to be a ho hum night.

Mandee has her video out from last night and says that they were sat down by the State Police. Not sure what Grasso was mad about. Pauch probably would have been okay if he didn't refire and run over his nose.

All started with alternating slide jobs ....the last one made some minimal contact.....32 could of lifted.....no wrecking, 32 waited till after checker to run his car into the side of the 1 car and then spun him.....car 1 runs over the front of 32. No damage, it was all a big nothing burger IMO
