Great finish to the Tobias Classic last night after a rough-and-tumble 75 laps. Some questionable behavior on a few people's part after the Steve Buckwalter-Jason Musser incident with Musser's crew member going into Buckwalter's cockpit as he was still upside down. Same crew member then took a swing at the turn 3 official as he was being pulled away from Steve's car. As he walked back toward the infield, the turn 3 official punched the Musser crew member in the back of the head and floored him. I have no problem with drivers and crews taking care of things the old fashioned way but not a good look for ATUSA for an official to behave like that.

Hey nymodfan sorry to hear that you don't care for Action track! Maybe Richie Tobias can come up there and show you how to prep a racetrack. I'm sure you must like Bridgeport. Heck who doesn't. Don't be a hater to the future stars on dirt.

Ok, I wasn't there but if a crew member went after a driver on the track while he is still in the car upside down !!! Then went after a track official for trying to hold him back. He deserves to get punched, slapped, kicked in the nuts. You pick which one. I dont care if it was a blindside punch. Kudos to the track official!! The driver in the upside car could have been injured. Whats worse punching someone blindsided or punching someone when the are buckled in a racecar upside down

Yes, no doubt the crew member deserved what he got for all the reasons you stated. Rediculous behavior on the crew members part. Heat of the moment or whatever, but the official went after the guy once he started walking away, chased him down and hit him from behind. An immediate reaction to a punch is understandable, an official tracking the guy down and retaliating is something else.
