Independent of what happened to the 96, it's always curious to me when there are a spate of DQ's on the last night of the season

Sprints was either rough driving or not complying with officials. Was hard to say

449 was dq for excessive speed in the pits

The 5w was dq for slamming the 7m into the turn 3 wall. The 7m had pulled a slider on the 5w in the first turn to take the lead after a green/white/checkered restart forcing the 5w to check up. Appeared the 5w never slowed going into 3 and drilled the 7m in the side sending him hard into the outside wall. It was a lucky thing he was not hurt.

Should be a dq and suspension for the 5w after that ridiculous move in a 25 lap crate race

I'm bothered more by the more obvious of examples where certain teams aren't subject to the scrutiny of tech like others are.  I don't like mentioning names to out anyone specifically but lets just say when one car not only wins but dominates the entire season and officials turn a  blind eye it smells bad.  Self inflicted  mismanagement  blunders are  the most frustrating thing for most fans . Favoritism is part of the sport to some degree and always will be but when its blatant and regular its bad for any track's front and back gate.  NES is what it is,  any racing is better than no racing, i doubt anything will get fixed.

Sounds like sour grapes unless you mention names. The original poster on this thread was trying to start garbage without the facts.

Excuse me but in reading the results from Saturday night it was very strange to see 3 cars dq'd. I was not there and was curious about the reasons. I was NOT trying to 'start garbage' at all. You would do yourself well to keep those type of statements to yourself!

If you wanted to know why the 3 drives were disqualified you could have just asked why. Instead you chose the passive aggressive "Wow, 3 cars dq'd in the same night!! What's going on at NES?". We know you're upset they threw Pauch Jr. out and ignore the facts on why. I will not keep those statements to myself, but thanks for the advice.

I still have not heard what the 'facts' were for the 96 disqualification. All I have heard did not affect performance. If you know more than that, please share.

From what i understand the rule states the heads can't be touched ....even though it was a messy valve job, the nicks in the head basically they were touched, if Brodix wouldn't have stated that and just said there was no performance advantage and the heads met all other specs, it probably would have been dropped.

The fact that the rules state they can't be "touched" and they were "touched" is what i think they made the decision on (absolutely no intent on the part of Pauch or Holsten) but when they said one set was good and the other set had cuts, how do you tell Gular that both sets are good when there is $10,000.00 on the line.

Could the 96 team see the nicks in the heads once they were finished? This is a real shame because Billy is having a career year

I generally try to remove myself from whizzin contests but you sir are known as a cage rattler and hater of some teams that don't run in NY.   Not that it makes any difference but Pauch nor Holsten were thrown out, that statement can't be any more false. The ownership at NES is a hater as well, you can draw your own conclusions about what teams they are. It sucks when your car constantly runs second and third to the same team.  One previous championship was already manipulated before this one to make sure the owners car took home the $$$$ and the trophy. If I hadda wage a logical guess as to why 3 teams were DQ'd in one nite, I'd say it was an attempt to gain back some credibility concerning how "fair" they are across the board. The people that attend NES regularly in the pits and stand know EXACTLY what the facts are that goes on there. Stay in NY and watch that overrated declining SDCS run on the rubbered up locked down tracks, rigged starting spots, crapping on outsider teams work  their own brand of  political magic entertain you. NES may or may not regain credibility, but unless you have some facts you add nothing helpful one way or another

"In addition, the team is suspended from any further points races for the 2021 campaign"

That counts as thrown out to me. He was protested by the Gular team and then Brodix would have to be in on the conspiracy.

The 3 cars disqualified were all "on track incidents"....the NEWS sprint was DQ'D for drilling another car under caution, The modified DQ was for an on track incident then speeding in the pits, the Crate DQ was for the second place car straight lining the leader into the 3rd turn fence on the last lap. nothing to do with tech violations.

you are correct every track has there favorites and turn a blind eye.  I have been to a track and there favorite was in a wreck stopped on the track and they put him right up front.  Do they give the same after race check i don't think so.
