Big news from the 'speed palace', Saturday, June 18th will be the first ever "Eastern Blast' during the '22 edition of Eastern Storm. A huge USAC double-header with both the Silver Crown series and National Sprintcar series competing. They will be joined by the winged 410's paying $5000 to win. |

Port Royal has done a tremendous job over the last few years with having something for everyone on the schedule. Pretty much any national or regional series, along with great shows and payouts for their weekly teams. They have put themselves in rarified air among iconic tracks like Eldora and Knoxville because of the scheduling, payouts, schedule variety, track prep and a first-class facility. Always enjoy my trips to PR. The remainder of the '22 Eastern Storm schedule will be released this coming week. Confirmed so far, Bridgeport, Wednesday June 15, Selinsgrove, Thursday June 16 and Williams Grove, Friday June 17, all USAC National Sprints. No Eastern Midget week in 2022. |

Couldn't agree more skulldug. I grew up on the 4th turn at PR & over the years I've sat in all the old stands. (And most of the new ones) I saw that place in bad shape & close to shutting down numerous times. This management team has done the track proud. I've read too that they treat the teams & drivers with respect & appreciate them. That's why the keep coming back. Every time I think they can't top a show or their whole schedule, they do. I agree too, they're gonna need more stands. |
