Agree with you. So let's liven this up.

The good, bad and ugly

36 Mods signed in of which at least 30 were top quality with the majority coming from NY

Since NJ and Pa have essentially no big block racing there were few if any invaders. Can't think of one driver from GV or NES. Understandably, it would be a lot of work and money to get a big block car ready for a handful of races during the year let alone not having much track time to dial it in. I guess having to carry so much momentum thru the highly banked turns makes a SB uncompetitive.

Was expecting a little larger car count but all the heavy hitters were there less Meressca, Wight, Rudolph and the aforementioned GV NES gang

Time trials seemed to go on forever and they still haven't quite figured out how to get that track a little smoother. I do give them credit for putting some water down during the evening as it made the surface very racy for the main. 16 cars scheduled for the consi with 4 to qualify made it a little mini feature

The 75 lap feature was worth every penny. Eying Godown as he moved through the field in the early going from 10th was a treat to watch. And, before anyone starts the trash talking, he did it with some clean, aggressive moves. From there it was hammer down for the full 75 with the leaders getting into lapped traffic within laps of any restarts. The real show was the last 10 laps or so with all the sliders and crossovers in turn 3 among the leaders. First Paush jr, in the 15, trying it on Godown for several laps and then Friesen picking them off with that smooth dive down low into 3. Hats off to him. Last 3 laps between Godown and Friesen were terrific with neither giving an inch and I think if Friesen had a lap or two more he would have won. He was the faster car. Also hats off to Pauch jr who finished 3rd. All in all a great night of racing

1) Godown, 2) Friesen, 3) Pauch jr, 4) Williamson, 5) Mclaughlin (fast qualifier), 6) Krachun, 7) Britten, 8), Gular, 9) Decker (consi), 10) Phelps (consi)

$6.25 a gallon diesel

special treatment to some for tires while others can only buy 1 tire a week

extra shows aren't really an option for many

Hey look! Another person who needs to work his political beliefs into his racing message board posts. Seems necessary. Please explain how President Biden is the cause of this tire shortage favoritism that's keeping you away from the races? Do you somehow feel President Trump would have passed a law making sure everybody was treated the same in regards to racing tires?

Good evening 8jrfan. You are quick to call out someone mentioning politics but did not fully complete the answer to the statement. You asked about Biden and his involvement in the tire issue. A valid question. The problem is that you chose to completely by pass his first statement about 6.25$ for diesel fuel. Did you miss that in the post???  He had a two fold issue and you run your mouth about half of it. Why don't you explain why Biden has absolutely nothing to with 6.25$ per gallon for diesel. Please answer the complete post. If you are able to speak about Biden/Trump on tires then please explain Biden/Trump on fuel. It's only fair.

Hi,

I did not discuss the price of fuel because there is very little the president has to do with the price of fuel. I hoped that this was already understood, but since it is not I am including a link to an article that explains fuel prices, supply and demand, and how little any president has to do with fuel prices. Please read it. Then you won't have to accuse me of "running my mouth".https://www.gobankingrates.com/money/economy/does-president-control-gas-prices/amp/

Great answer. Well thought out. Backed up soundly with research. I'm not shocked at all that you can only be a jerk and not actually answer the question.

I have said this before and I will say it again, probably for the final time as a member of this board. This is a racing message board. We should discuss racing on here. There is no reason to bring your political grievances to the board and use some flimsy premise to connect them to something racing related. Do you frequent MAGA boards and complain about the officiating at Grandview? I'm sure you do not. So why do it here? If we want racing to succeed (which is something we should all want as race fans, regardless of political beliefs) we should be open to ANYBODY who wants to be a fan. The FJB post followed by the incredibly mature question If my vagina hurts is asinine.

So now that I have responded in a reasonable, well thought out manner, I will leave you with a message in your cute little abbreviations code.  GFY, A. G. Ross, GFY.

This board used to be fun. Sadly it's not anymore.

Regardless of anyones opinions we are supposed to have this thing called the first amendment, that protects our free speech. Sadly that has eroded and is even threatened to some degree in here. Lets not pretend which political side of the coin the vast majority of people who are in the racing community are on. Any one who chooses to bury their head in the sand and pretend that  political actions and the aftermath don't affect the sport are ignoring facts. Inflation is real, the supply chain issues are real, the gas prices are realand political actions or lack of them sharee a large degree of the blame  The national debt is real and affects everyones lives. I hope the sport of racing survives and thrives once again if things have a chance of improving     Our government is corrupt  JMO      #FJB

Hey lets send 100's of billions of tax payers dollars to Ukraine so they can defend themselves against Russia.

Hey lets also reduce the production of U.S. oil and gas so we have to import it from Russia at an inflated price so they have 100's of billions of dollars to wage war with Ukraine. President Biden be like.

Sad times, stupid people, in our own country.

Showee and I thought someone was going to educate me on why small blocks are not competative against a BB at BPort. Man was I wrong. What a facinating, sideways tangental.

I did learn about high diesal fuel, tire sale conspiricies, Biden this and that, money to the Ukrane defense, money to Russian oil and somebodies hurt vagina. Who Knew!!!! I admit it did take me a while to figure out what #FJB and GFY meant.

We should all agree that Biden is in the throes of dementia and should be removed from office but he brilliantly has a VP that is less qualified than a watermelon. Now why have all tracks except New Egypt stopped posting on the board?

A SB will smoke a BB on that track  All the teams that had BBs are now obsolete and everyone was forced to run a SB to even think about being competitive.  Out of the field on a weekly Saturday night race, dwindled down to about 22, I guess there are one to zero big blocks in the field.  The combo of the SB and weight break is to good not to run it.
