Are we counting SpeedStr wins on the all time career wins list?

I'd like to know, but since I'm not on social media & Actio Track doesn't post results on here. I usually don't know who won & I can't get there in person, but I'm blocked on Flo too. Thanks Action Track

Makes no real difference it counts in the bank account. The Action track payout for those 2 main classes is the best bang for buck in racing when you factor in the total associated costs of having a raceteam operation. I'm not the biggest fan of the Spdstrs as much as the 600's but they both are well suited for Action track

I have no problem counting the 600s in the wins totals, but don't think the SpeedSTrs should count. In the 80s or 90s it wasn't uncommon for the leading feature winner to be a micro driver.

Funny how people complain about AT not posting here, because they don't have social media. How do you get your results from Grandview or Big Diamond? If you go to the track every week good for you, it must be nice to have that much disposable cash.

I dont know if this helps you but racing historians have usesd  the wins from Action Track with other career wins. I guess this was brought about because of Billy Jr 2 wins last night

It's a race car. It won. Yes it counts.  Why would'nt it count?

Yes....at least within the ranks of Auto Racing Research Associates historians....now numbering 38 or 39 historians across the country.  As someone wrote in a post in this thread....this sounds like it was brought up because of Billy Pauch Jr.'s double wins Wednesday night at Action Track.  Not sure if it is and it doesn't really matter.  The following link to one of our pages on our ARRA website describes what criteria we use to determine if we count a division.  Basically, the racer needs to have "sprung weight" at the four corners to be counted.  I want to point out that this is not that the historians of ARRA do not count out any division of racing, but when racing machines get down to where they do not have "sprung weight" they tend to not get the press that is needed to perpetuate a consistently available set of stats.  Therefore, and this will explain why we don't keep track of Slingshot wins across the board.  There is just a void in consistent weekly news for them and we decided to not try to track down the wins as it would amount to many more hours of chasing.  Something which I already spend five to six hours each Wednesday evening updating the website.  The criteria does say we consider "sprung weight" as countable wins, but we only count them where they are easily found.

I would like to say that had the deal with Billy Jr. winning two features Wednesday night...all one had to do was to go to his page on our website and you could see that we do count SpeedSTR wins.  If you go to the Action Track page...you will see that we also note Slingshot stats weekly when they compete.  I occasionally get questions from race fans that the answer can easily be found on our website.  Really people....check out our website....we now have well over 300 different racing subjects researched and documented and this is what we do this for.  And we add more all the time.  Just in the last two days...I have added a page for the brand new High Limit Sprint Car Series and the defunct Yellow Jacket Speedway.
