SuperMatt, Gular. Mahaney. Stewie and Godown finished 4th and 5th. Both came in with 5 to go for tires. Lot of flats. |

Camp Barnes was changed from Delmar to Georgetown because of track conditions. Looks like a bad choice to me. Maybe Mr.Deyo should ask Mr.Cathell to prep the track, dont remember Delmar blowing that many tires. What happened to Mr.Hoffman doing the track prep it was the best its been in years ? Tired of paying good $ to watch a dust cloud. I'm sure most of the less funded teams feel the pain of burning up 3 or 4 tires. |

Track prep was good tracked stayed smooth all nite.....it got hard black and slick. The problem was the combination of the clay tire choice and driving style. Mahaney and Sheps tires were good, Gulars had about a lap left on them. Sheppard was off the gas right at the start finish line, just rolled in the turns. The NY tracks are for most part very abrasive dry hard and slick so the 9s and 44 have a distinct advantage and usually figure it better. The 44 blew his RR too though |

DIRT modifieds just kill a surface anymore. WHether it is the tires, bodies, suspension they just suck the moisture right out of the track. Grandview and Bridgepoer look like they have been through a war after 30 laps. Middletowwn you can see the dust trails from lap 1. Something will need to be done to alleviate this. |
