Bealer, Rochelle Family Fued To Play Out At The East Coast Indoor Dirt Nationals In Trenton

Trenton, NJ – The BELFOR Property Restoration East Coast Indoor Dirt Nationals could turn into a Family Fued pitting the Rochelle’s against the Bealer’s. The two racing families, both with long traditions in motorsports, have each entered two racers in the event to be held at the CURE Insurance Arena on Friday and Saturday, February 24th and 25th.

Jason Rochelle of Schnecksville, PA anchors his family effort at the event driving a No. 53 600 Sprint owned by Gary Colluci. His daughter, Morgan will also compete with the same CT based team in a No. 24.

The Bealer effort includes the father and son team of Pat and son Zach Bealer of Leighton, PA.

Pat, a long-time top winner in Micro Sprint racing who finished 13th in the last running of the race, will drive a No. 44 owned by Robert Pierce.

Zach competed in Micros, SpeedSTR’S and Sprint Cars in 2022. At Trenton, he’ll run for long-time Modified car owner Gary and Donna Spotts in their No. 2s.

The two families have been tied together since Zach married Morgan, the 2022 Ms. Motorsports. They both recently completed the Indoor Auto Racing Concrete Series. Zach ran the three-race series in a TQ Midget, his wife in a Slingshot.

The entry list for the East Coast Indoor Nationals, sponsored by BELFOR Property Restoration is full with top drivers ready to buckle into 88 wingless 600cc Sprint racecars.

A record crowd for the event is expected as well, with adult tickets in general admission areas selling for $20 on Friday and $25 on Saturday and Children 12 to 2 just $5 both nights. Reserved seats for an additional fee are an option on Saturday night.

This year’s entry list includes drivers from eight different states racing for a top prize of $5,000 in Saturday’s headline 50 lap A-Main. Drivers include not only the very best in 600cc Sprint action, but full-size Sprints, Modifieds and Midgets. A complete entry list is available at the series website, indoorautoracing.com.

Dirt Modified drivers entered for competition include Billy Pauch Jr., Tim Buckwalter, Sammy Martz Jr., Bobby Watkins, Bobby Hentschel, Adrianna Delliponti, Adam Buchel, Dakota Kessler, Eddie Strada and Tyler Thompson.

Thompson, an asphalt SuperModified driver as well, was the winner of the 2019 Oswego Speedway Classic.

The Sprint Cars will be led by Briggs Danner, Alex Bright, Scott Kreutter, Chris Allen, Tyler Brehm, Cliff Brian Jr., Christian Bruno, Eric Jennings, Kenny Miller III, Cody West and Aiden Borden,

This weekend’s program starts on Friday with a race fan’s dream event featuring four 20 Lap Turp Coates Law of Hightstown, NJ sponsored A-Main Qualifier races. Racing begins at 7 PM with ten 12 lap heat races that set the line-ups for four features that follow.

The top 60 in heat race points, finishing positions with the addition of passing points, advance to the four 20 lap A-Main qualifiers. Each winner earns $1,000. The top three in each transfer directly to Saturday night’s $5,000 to win A-Main.

Finishing positions and passing points from Friday will then set the line-ups for Saturday’s events, sponsored by Custom Built Product, for the remainder of the drivers who fail to finish in the top three on night one.

The drivers with the least points will begin Saturday’s program sponsored by Custom Built Products, which begins at 6 PM, in one of two E-Mains that transfer the top four to the back of those assigned to the D-Main. This process continues with each letter until the top six finishers in each B-Main fill-out the field for Saturday night’s 24-car A-Main.

Not only did Keller start last in the A-Main last year, he started last in the E-Main as well. While he never won, he finished in a transfer spot in the E, D, C and B to earn the last starting spot in Saturday’s A-main.

Good tickets remain for both days of the two-day event through a link to Ticket Master at indoorautoracing.com. Tickets are also available daily and the days of the event at the arena box office. For those searching for tickets online directly, be sure you land on TicketMaster, other outlets looking similar offer tickets at a much higher price.
