Been doing this race thing in many capacities over the past 60 yrs and had a new nuance that happened on Saturday.  Got my wristband and by the time I got my seat in the stands it was cancelled.  In the past I have been ticked off about things like that but in this case, it was just one of those things. From what I gather there were only a few cars in the pits which would have made for a bad show anyway. The weather kept fans from coming so there was no way for NES to break even or profit.  If it was just the weather situation alone  the show could have happened. So I bring my wristband on next event and all is good. One of those wierd set of circumstances. Promoting a race venue is a gamble everytime the gates get opened.
