Two competitors gone in one week! How about mandatory physicals? Not just a stick your tongue out and cough, A regulation thorough one. Skip barber series in the 80`s you had to have one for any of their classes that you drove in.

I'm not much on tacking on more rules than there already are but at the same time on this topic  one would like to think every competitor takes some form of responsibility for their own well being.  I guess a notation from a physician clearing someone would not be that big of an inconvenience.  Safety is one place where most don't push back.  Maybe each facility can take a vote amongst the competitors, it would be interesting to see what the vote would be.

I agree sucks to add more rules but, i don't think a DOT physical would be a bad idea. Used to have to do one for a non cdl box truck gig, I’d think a racecar is more dangerous
