Lloyd Holt Joins ARRA Researched Driver List
Ringoes,NJ – Legendary Canadian stock car pilot Lloyd Holt is the latest driver to have his career researched and documented by the Auto Racing Research Associates network of historians. Holt, at one time a feared modified stock car driver among some of Canada’s finest dirt track modified tracks, amassed a total of 76 feature event wins across a career of 22 years and success at 8 different facilities! “Again...” ARRA President Fred Voorhees mentioned, “…..I am grateful for one of ARRA’s newest racing contacts...actually a pair of them in the form of Jeff Anstett and his research partner Dan Mayer. I have made it well known that I have been concentrating on Canadian racing for a year or two and from delving around and poking around in the racing to the North of us...I was fortunate to add so many contacts on the North side of America’s border. It’s been a real boon to our research capabilities with so many of these new contacts. Jeff and Dan are two of our newest guys….we are so lucky to have them aboard!” Holt, nailed down two track modified championships in his career. In 1967, Holt brought home the trophy at the Humberstone Speedway, a track that was added to the ARRA website within the past year and in 1970, Lloyd grabbed the top honors in the Modified division at the Rolling Wheels Raceway.
