Ringoes,NJ – Continuing to add to the growth of their growing website featuring racing statistics of all kinds, Auto Racing Research Associates announce that still another driver has been added to the list of hot shoe chauffers that have had their driving careers researched and documented and now available for use and enjoyment by the racing press and fans alike!

Hamburg, NY’s Ron Smoker plied his high powered passion for dirt track racing at some of Ontario, Canada’s and New Yorks toughest facilities. Canada’s Merrittville and Humerstone Speedways and New York’s famous Weedsport, Ransomville and Canandaigua Speedways all had Ron Smoker visiting its victory lane.

This new page is a continuation of the rampage of files being submitted to ARRA via avid racing historian and ARRA contributor Jeff Anstett and his partner Dan Mayer. “Yep...once Jeff was aware of what we were looking for with our research, he took off like a bat out of hell!” joked ARRA President Fred Voorhees in speaking about the 154th driver to be added to the groups website of vital and accurate racing statistics.

Ron’s brother and he shared driving duties when they were honing their racing skills back in the ‘80’s at facilities such as Perry and Genesee Speedways. Once he had his feet underneath him…...Ron broke off for his own racing efforts and the rest is history. “Thanks once again to Jeff and Dan and they sure have kept me busy as of late! ARRA has made such inroads into Canadian dirt track racing over the past few years!” Voorhees proudly boasts…..”We are truly moving towards national status and delving into international stats!”
