A pleasant evening greeted race teams and fans at the Little Track By The River for their June 11th night of racing.
The All Star Slingshots had 22 entries and after some early race jitters and yellows, the run to the finish was very close as Lindsey Garl fought off challenges from Tess Horvath and Dylan Hoch to get her 1st win of the 2025 season.Dylan got by Tess on lap 8 and made the charge for the win coming just .21 seconds short. Tess rebounded from sliding back to 4th for a solid 3rd place run.Hailey Eroh entered the top 5 on lap 14 getting by Mason Pittenger putting the 57 in for 4th place money.Dan Lane,Jr. went from 8th to 5th in the last 2 laps to rally for his top 5 run.

Polesitter Chris Dolan triumphed in the 270 micro feature with early race battles from Jacob Neff and Jarrett Imler. Staying within striking distance was Chase Zeigenfuss who fell back to 4th on lap 15 only to get things back on target passing a high flying Dustin Roberts at the line for 3rd. While all of this was happening 10th starting Matt McAnally was now in the top 5 on lap 9 and making a strong bid for the win on lap 19 falling just short after 20 laps.Early race challenger Jacob Neff was the 5th place finisher.
Jake Moyer had his hands full in the Stage 1 Modified main as Dakota George,Dylan Hoch and Johnny Fugelo all got to his back bumper but never getting by the 1M. While Fugelo was settled in at 2nd,the Hoch Family battle ensued from lap 14 to the checker with Dylan getting by Tyler on lap 17 to secure 3rd place money. Rich Keller improved 5 positions to get the 5th place payout.
Matt McAnally's 9.02,.06 and.09 laps in his heat transferred to the 600 micro main and even though Matt was extremely fast so was Jase Smith who followed in Matt's tire tracks for 9 laps and Trevor Kobylarz who got by Smith on lap 10 and was starting to turn faster laps than McAnally, only to have the checker being waved giving McAnally a hard fought win over Kobylarz and Smith.Behind this group was the threesome of Geezer Fanelli,Nolen Layser and Damian Bower. With the red being displayed on lap 4 for Riley Wanamaker who had a nose-dive ,back end crashing incident in turn 2 leaving her needing medical attention, racing continued. Layer's strong bid would come to an end on lap 16 as the 3L headed to the infield while running 5th. McAnally would get the win over Kobylarz with Smith 3rd, Fanelli 4th and Bower benefiting from Layser's DNF to get 5th.
The Junior Slingshot main saw Frank Fritzinger get by Hailey Burnatowski on lap 3 and charge to the front only to have his winning efforts thwarted on lap 6 with a broken chain. Barry Seaman was in the right spot to take over the race lead and his 2nd win of the season. Aubrey Romig was on a mission,as last week's winner was placed to the rear only to pass all 6 cars in front of her in just 1 lap claiming a 2nd place run. Burnatowski held strong for 3rd just ahead of a smooth running Cheyenne Snodderly with Gavin Wolfe, who was part of a late race incident coming from the rear to get 5th.It was an alphabet finish the top 5 car #s were 55B,35A,86H,5S and 23G.
The final 20 lap feature of the night was the 125 micros and Steve Simmons assumed command at the drop of the green never to be headed, putting the Sam Borger 04 under the final checker for the win. Easton Miller made a few attempts to overtake Simmons but at races end was 2nd in the 17E. The battle for 3rd,4th and 5th was rather spirited with a few position swaps along the way. 3rd went to last week's winner Seth Gregory as Dylan Yeingst and Mitch Gibson rounded out the top 5.Race went non-stop in 3:20.
