Fantastic weather conditions greeted ,race teams, fans and officials for the July 23rd Wingless Weds. show at the Little Track By The River.

First class to the speedway was the Stage 1 Modifieds and it didn't take Tyler Hoch long to take command of the 20 lap event.Hoch went wire to wire with Brett Smith and Jake Moyer being joined by Darian Danyluk in the S1 ride and last week's winner Dylan Hoch.Smith claimed 2nd place money as Danyluk got by Moyer on lap 14 to secure 3rd with Dylan moving into 4th on lap 16, keeping Moyer behind him as this pair finished 4th and 5th. The 20 lap event went non-stop and was completed in 3:25.

The 600 micros were the 2nd class to take on the high banks for 20 laps and when the green dropped Matt McAnally was the race leader heading into turn 1. Shadowing Matt's line was Trevor Kobylarz only to see an opening heading into turn 3 on lap 6 ,but Matt had the launch off of turn 4 to secure the top spot. Andrew and Brevan Rothermel were joined by Rockey Johnson,Sr., Luke McCloskey,Easton Miller and Geezer Fanelli. This 6-some put the fans on the edge of their seat as no position was safe for the remaining 9 laps. Johnson and McCloskey got by the Rothermel's on lap 14 with Miller and Fanelli being joined by Jase Smith. 4th and 5th was virtually decided on the last lap with McCloskey just getting to the line ahead of Miller, who narrowly beat Fanelli for 5th. McAnally claimed his 2nd 600 micro win of the season with Kobylarz having another solid runner-up run as the current point leader.

The Junior Slingshot racers put on an incredible show with a few slowdowns in the first 4 laps continuing to bunch up the field behind early race leader Joey DiNisi.DiNisi showed the way until Hailey Burntatowski overtook Joey for the lead on lap 8 with last week's winner Aubrey Romig also getting by DiNisi 1 lap later. With no race slowdowns for the next 12 laps Brody and Brayden Bednar were wheeling it out with Barry Seaman who had to come from the rear after an early race incident and Cheyenne Snodderly, who also had to regroup and charge through the field. Lap 16's yellow was for a disabled Brody Bednar setting up the run to the checker. Burnatowski held on for the win with Seaman getting by Romig off of turn 4 to the checker to get 2nd by just .13 seconds. Snodderly got by Bednar for 4th with Brayden having a strong 5th place run.Early race leader DiNisi was 6th.

Blaire Leiby led the 1st four laps of the 125 micro main before being overtaken by Easton Miller with Steve Simmons and Seth Gregory in hot pursuit. Miller's 5 car length lead was getting trimmed as the race winded down after Gregory got by Leiby. Miller's winning margin was by just a half a second over Gregory with Leiby 3rd. Simmons 4th and Dylan Yeignst rallying for 5th.

The All Star Slingshot 20 lap feature was one exciter from the green to the checker with no stoppages slowing down the intense action on the high-banks. Zack Gerber and Hailey Eroh locked into a torrid battle for the top spot with Darian Danyluk, Lucas Pittenger,Lindsey Garl and Wyatt Taschler  having a war of their own. Eroh got to Zack's left rear tire on lap 17 but Zack held firm to get the winner's share of the payout. Eroh withstood a late race challenge from Danyluk to slot in for 2nd with Danyluk getting the final podium spot of 3rd. The 3 car battle for 4th was settled on lap 19 as Pittenger got 4th with Williams getting by both Garl and Taschler for 5th with Garl 6th and Taschler 7th.Nolen Layser assumed the driving chores of the Thunberg 12Jr and got 8th. Non-stop race time for the 20 laps was 3:27.

The Junior Sprints ran their Golden Hammer 30 lap main with Andrew Ferriola and Jase Smith setting a blistering pace  with Carter Green,Lucas Ferriola and Barrett Bressler joining the front running pair. Jase got by Andrew on lap 12 and led the remaining 18 laps to get the win over Andrew. With Lucas Ferriola pulling off the speedway on lap 23,it finalized 3rd,4th and 5th for Bressler, Green and Caleb Mertz.

After 3 yellows before lap 1 was completed, something quite unusual for the 270s,they focused on completing some laps with Chase Zeigenfuss and Dylan Kuronya locked up in a stunning 2 car run for the lead. The battle for 3rd was becoming the attention getter as Jarrett Imler,Chris Dolan and Matt McAnally swapped these spots a few times as the final feature of the night was winding down.Zeigenfuss was unaware of the fast closing Kuronya and bested him by just .327 seconds for win # 1 of 2025.McAnally moved into 3rd over Imler but ran out of laps to track down the front running duo.Chris Dolan was 5th at the checker with Chris Marafino regrouping from an early race incident to get 6th.

Final checker was thrown at 9:32.
Payout was completed at 9:55 with everyone heading home at 10PM.
