With temps in the low 70's and no humidity it was a great night for racing at the Little Track By The River.

The night was led off by the Junior Sprints and at the drop of the green Andrew Ferriola was not going to be denied his 2nd win of the season as he had to keep Enzo Iudicello and Lucas Ferriola behind him. These 3 distanced themselves from the field and under the checker it was Andrew getting the win. Heading off of turn 4 Lucas had a great launch to get by Enzo for 2nd. Braylon Morris and Tyler Johnson rounded out the top 5.

In a green to checker 20 lap main event for the 125 micros Steve Simmons, Seth Gregory and Easton Miller held the top 3 spots for 15 laps but things changed on lap 16 as both Miller and Gregory both got by Simmons with Miller notching the win over Gregory and Simmons. Slotting in for 4th and 5th were Dylan Yeingst and Mitch Gibson. Race was completed in 3:23.

Taking to the high banked 1/8th mile next was the Junior Slingshots and this 20 lapper was quite a crowd pleaser with 5 laps to go. Assuming command for the 1st 3 laps was Anthony Dinatale with Aubrey Romig in hot pursuit. Aubrey found some racing room on the lowside of turn 3 to get by Anthony with Frank Fritzinger,Cheyenne Snodderly and Barry Seaman on the move.A yellow moved Gavin Wolfe to the rear and bunched up the pack with an all out war for the last 10 laps. Fritzinger moved into 2nd,Seaman into 3rd and Wolfe on the move from his previous incident sliding into 4th. Just waiting for her chance get into the mix was Hailey Burnatowski and she did just that on lap 15 getting by Wolfe. At the 2 lap signal misfortune struck 3rd place running Barry Seaman as he pulled into the infield as a DNF. Romig,Fritzinger and Burnatowski were literally inches from each other at the checkered as less than a second separated the top 3 at the finish with Romig,Fritzinger and Burnatowski your top 3 with Wolfe just besting a hard charging Joey DeNisi for 4th.

If you have a weak heart the 600 micro main finish would not have been for you. Trevor Kobylarz had the fastest lap of the 20 lap A Main, but keeping pace was Adam O'Brien and Matt McAnally with Damian Bower and Geezer Fanelli just a few car lengths behind. These 5 were mixing it up for 14 laps until Karter Kunsman overtook Fanelli for 5th and the race was on to the checker. With Dave Cordier,Jr.'s white flag waving things quickly changed at the front of the pack.Kobylarz went a little deep into turn 1 with O'Brien tossing the XXX to the lowside of turn 2 for a successful pass and his 2nd win of the season by just .305 seconds over Kobylarz. Also within striking distance was McAnally, who claimed the final podium spot. Bower held off the last lap bid by Kunsman to get 4th with Kunsman 5th. Easton Miller made a late race charge for 6th.

Ladies Night at Shellhammer's continued in the Slingshot class with Lindsey Garl and Hailey Eroh off and running at the drop of the green in the All Star Slingshot feature. The front running pair were joined by Jocelynn Darinsig as the ladies were extremely fast after Zack Gerber was involved in a turn 4 incident through no fault of his own. Keeping pace with the trio were Bobby Klein and Colton Williams with Mason Pittenger,Tess Horvath and Darian Danyluk squaring off right behind them. The female trifecta was Garl,Eroh and Darinsig with Williams getting 4th. Getting by Klein and Pittenger for 5th was Danyluk with Klein getting a respectable 6th. 13 of the 14 starters completed the race.

Positions were being swapped virtually every lap of the 270 micro main as Matt Hoffman and Sleeveless Mike Kalman were quickly joined by Dylan Kuronya, Chris Dolan and Clinton Hauser. Lap 11 changed the whole outcome of the race as the most popular passing spot on the 1/8th mile, turn 2, was used again as Kuronya had just enough racing room to get by Hoffman with respect shown by both drivers as no contact was made. With laps passing Kalman simply lost the handling of his 17K as Matt McAnally, DJ Tanner and Chase Zeigenfuss all got by setting up a final run to the finish.Kuronya took the win over Hoffman by a comfortable margin with Dolan tapping Hoffman's rear bumper in getting 3rd. Hauser got 4th place money with Tanner nosing out McAnally for 5th. McAnally was 6th with Zeigenfuss 7th as Kalman slipped back to 8th.

The Stage 1 Modifieds closed out the night with the A J Gerhart / Dylan Hoch Show going 14 laps after early race top 3 runner Rich Keller headed to the infield on lap 6. There were quite a few laps where Dylan got to the right rear of Gerhart but could not make the pass. Adding some more intrigue to this exciting race was Tyler Hoch who vaulted into 3rd on lap 9 from his 9th starting spot. Quietly making their presence felt were Johnny Fugelo, Brett Smith and Luke McCloskey. The top 6 finish was not going to be decided until the 20 laps were completed. Gerhart held firm for the win over Dylan by just.311 seconds. Tyler kept the late race challenge from Smith happening in getting 3rd. Smith then had to wheel and deal to earn 5th over Fugelo as McCloskey finished 6th from his last starting spot.

A BIG atta-boy needs to be given to these drivers as only 8 cautions were needed for the 10 qualifying events and 7 A Mains.

The final checkered was thrown at 9:23 with everyone on their way home by 9:45.

Another great track surface prepped by Dave Cordier, Jr. gave the racers a top to bottom speedway to get a hold of.
