Car Owner John Zemaitis/ZEMCO Racing Joins ARRA Research Roster Ringoes, NJ – Highlighting an involvement in auto racing spanning an amazing 49 seasons, ZEMCO racing team owners John and PeeWee Zemaitis, become the latest team owners to have their racing teams wins and statistics provided on the Auto Racing Research Associates statistical website! Recently honored with a night of their own at the Williams Grove Speedway, the honors continue with their addition to the ever growing website of racing statistics of all kinds and of international scope! “This one kind of fell into our laps here at ARRA!” stated ARRA President and Co-Founder Fred Voorhees, from his Ringoes,NJ office. “I saw that the Williams Grove Speedway was honoring John and PeeWee for their many, many years of dedication to the sport through driving and car owning. On the internet…I saw that they were using a listing of the ZEMCO sprint car wins in their advertising of the program. I immediately recognized the opportunity and after some investigating…I found that our own ARRA historian Kevin Eckert, one of the nations top sprint car experts, had compiled the list in preparation for the program. Kevin happily forwarded the list, which only contained the sprint car division wins.” Veteran Northeast racing fans are well aware of the fact that the ZEMCO racing team had their roots in the Northeast modified scene and that prompted President Voorhees to get to work to corral the roughly twenty or so modified wins to complete the teams winning history. “It wasn’t all that hard to track everything down.” Fred revealed. “We had most of the stats already documented on the various track project files on our site. It didn’t take long to document the teams modified successes.” The Zemaitis” put so much into the sport over the 49 seasons of competition! Enjoying the talents of 15 drivers who met success behind the wheel of the #1 ZEMCO machines and success at a total of 29 different racing facilities across the nation, the team clicked for a total of 194 checkered flags over its illustrious career of chasing the wins! “It is certainly an honor for ARRA Research to include the stats and figures of the ZEMCO Racing Team on our site and I want to again thank Kevin Eckert for the work he put into this file and it just increases the interest factor of our site!” Voorhees ended with.
