ARRA’s Newest Historian Submits Driver Profile Butch Lindley

Ringoes,NJ – ARRA’s newest auto racing historian member, Maine’s Dan St. Pierre, has gotten off to a great start as a member of the 42 member strong research group as he just recently submitted a career profile research project on NASCAR driver Butch Lindley.

Lindley got his start in racing in 1968, racing in the Mini Stock division at the North Carolina Travelers Rest Speedway.  He quickly advanced into the NASCAR Sportsman division where he became one of the divisions winningest chauffer’s, amassing a total of 168 division wins, amongst a career that saw a total of 224 trips to victory lane.

“Dan did a fantastic job in detailing the wins of Butch Lindley, who tragically left us after suffering a head injury in an event in 1985 at the DeSoto Speedway in Bradenton, Florida.” Claimed ARRA President Fred Voorhees, welcoming the groups newest historian member into the fold.  “His name was synonymous with winning and Dan was a big fan and determined to document his career.  We are so glad and proud to welcome Dan to our group of historians and so glad that he brings along with him, a body of work that gets its start on the ARRA website with the Butch Lindley file!” Voorhees said.

Those fans wishing to view the Butch Lindley page on the always growing ARRA website (the Lindley page represents the 195th driver to have his career documented by ARRA) can view it here:  https://sites.google.com/site/arracarsdriversevents/home/lindley-butch
