It’s Ricci Times Two on the ARRA Driver Roster…Mike and Rich Jr. are Added!
Ringoes,NJ – Continuing their always forward progress in documenting the sport of auto racing’s top drivers and historic racing facilities…Auto Racing Research Associates are proud to announce that the exciting and talented Ricci Brothers, Rich Jr and Mike are the newest drivers to be added to the roster of researched and documented stock car chauffeurs! Sons of legendary driver Rich Ricci, both Mike and Rich Jr. have been stellar performers behind the wheel and have earned their right to be recognized as two of the many top stars at wheeling stock cars! “Meandering around racing people and being known for this auto racing research work, I often get questions about why this or that driver are not included on the ARRA statistical website.” Mentioned ARRA President Fred Voorhees from his ARRA office. “I have had the pleasure of attending the Accord Speedway in Accord, NY and when last there…there were a few fans that wandered up to me and asked about the Ricci Brothers…the top two drivers on the speedways all time win list, accounting for a total of 185 feature event triumphs. At the time…I was backed up with several research projects, but I put it in the back of my mind to take a look at the two of them and when the season wrapped up last year…I decided to make the Ricci’s one of my Winter time tasks.” The two Brothers careers somewhat mirror each other in success. Rich Jr. managed to corral a total of 153 career feature event victories and they were obtained at eleven different tracks. Rich Jr. excelled at competition at Accord, Lebanon Valley and the Orange County Fair Speedways. He tallied up eleven track championships between Accord and Lebanon Valley. Mike took down just nine less wins than Brother Rich, tallying a total of 144 at such facilities as Accord, Moc-A-Tek and Orange County. Mike, like Rich Jr., struck checkered flag gold at eleven different tracks and accounted for a total of six championships won at either Accord or Moc-A-Tek. “The Ricci’s were a formidable and powerful force at the Accord Speedway!” Voorhees related when speaking of the ARRA groups newest drivers on their always growing website. “When you mention the Accord Speedway, you absolutely cannot avoid bringing the name Ricci into the conversation….you just CAN’T! They both got their racing feet wet back in the 1980’s and were still winning at the track into the 2020’s…Mike’s last win coming back in 2022 and Rich in 2024.” Fans wishing to view the brothers individualized pages on the ARRA website can do so by clicking the following links.
