ARRA Announces the Addition of Rich Ricci Sr to its Driver Roster! Join’s Sons! Ringoes,NJ – Auto Racing Research Associates, ARRA, are proud to announce the addition of its latest driving star to join its roster of researched and documented “shoes”! Accord Speedway driving legend, Rich Ricci Sr. joins his Son’s Rich Jr. and Mike Ricci on the widely acclaimed website of auto racing statistics! “ARRA enjoys a healthy association with a number of auto racing fans and personalities who have the same belief in preserving the history of the sport, but are just not able to fully jump in as member historians.” said ARRA President Fred Voorhees from his home based ARRA office in rural Ringoes, NJ. “Frank Bush, a long time Accord Speedway fan and the person responsible for its annual drivers and fan reunion that ARRA attends, hooked up with us at last weeks Orange County and told me that he had pretty much gone over the career of Rich Ricci Sr. so that he could join his Son’s Mike and Rich Jr., who I researched over the Winter months. Frank has been instrumental in my research of Accord over the years.” Bush got the handwritten files to Voorhees in just two days and some quick work got everything into a spreadsheet and after gathering some photos of Ricci Sr., he is now one of the many top flight drivers over a wide margin of categories of auto racing. “For those doing the counting…..” Fred informed, “…Rich Sr. becomes the 186th driver to join our ARRA roster of documented drivers ensconced in the halls of the ARRA library of auto racing stats!” “Rich Sr. was the first of a host of Ricci family members, including Sons Mike and Rich Jr., as well as female family member, young Allison Ricci.” Fred explained of the families long time involvement in the sport of dirt track racing. “While Rich Sr. knocked down wins at Orange County Fair, Lebanon Valley and Cairo Speedways, it was the Accord Speedway that highlighted his career with a total of 54 visits to victory lane. Some say his biggest achievement is the mentoring of his Sons Mike and Rich Jr. who both amassed very impressive career records and who both sit atop the tracks all time win list with a combined total of 185 victories!” “It’s ARRA’s pleasure to add Rich Sr. to our roster of drivers!” wrapped up President Voorhees as he began to submit the news to various press avenues. Auto Racing Research Associates is a growing group of forty five auto racing historians across the country banded together for the purpose of the research, documentation and displaying of auto racing history such as driver win statistics, track, racing series and organizations histories and also the background of racing personalities, particular cars from the past and various other interesting facts of racing history that should not be forgotten. ARRA continues to build a network of associated auto racing related websites to unite for better chances of furthering the understanding of the past of our sport. ARRA offers looking up services for those looking for one particular piece of information from the past. They are the official statistics information source of the Flemington Speedway Historical Society and have been doing much of the research work for a number of years for the Northeast Dirt Modified Museum and Hall of Fame in Weedsport, NY. ARRA President, Fred Voorhees, was honored by the Northeast Dirt Modified Hall of Fame, located in the Weedsport, NY based Dirt Modified Museum for his work for ARRA in July of 2025, being awarded the Andrew S. Fusco Award for Media Excellence.
