ARRA Adds BAPS Motor Speedway Complete Results History to its Website!!!

Ringoes,NJ – Auto Racing Research Associates – ARRA, is proud to announce that they have added yet another track to their ever growing auto racing statistics website that has its complete history of weekly results documented! This time around, it’s the Newberrytown, PA racing facility known at the BAPS Motor Speedway.

“People often ask me how our historians go about choosing who or what to research next.” Notes ARRA President Fred Voorhees from his Ringoes,NJ located home office. “And I have to answer that, that there is really no answer. No rhyme or reason. Sometimes, a particular track has been involved in so many of our individual driver research projects that it just makes sense to document its history so that our driver research projects take less time and become streamlined. Other times, a track will close up and for posterity sake…we want to secure its history. In my case with BAPS, I thought there was a reason, but now, I just can’t remember just how I got into its research. At first, I had thrown together a piecemeal list of headline sprint car winners for a certain window of time. However, I never like leaving things at that. When I do track research projects now….I include each and every division run. It just makes sense and prevents myself and the other historians from having to go back to our sources and finding wins in companion classes. It’s all about time saving as research is a long enough task!”

Voorhees reveals that his BAPS study spanned three months. “Yeah, about three months, but to be honest, it was one of the easily researched tracks due to excellent media coverage. I would have to guess that I have nailed down a good 98 to 99 percent of the feature results over the entire existence of the speedway which got off of the ground back in 1954. We have a number of sources where we usually dig for our stats, and they all paid off handsomely with this effort.”

Racing fans and just about anyone who may wish to view the complete competition results history of the famed Keystone State racing facility can check it out by visiting the BAPS Motor Speedway page on the ARRA website here: https://sites.google.com/view/tracks-organizations-series/home/baps-motor-speedway
