I saw this coming for quite some time, and once the dust up with Grosso happened, from that point on the writing was clearly on the wall. It sux for sure but at the same time it's possibly a blessing. The uncountable self inflicted wounds that happened pretty much routinely after Mr Miscoski's departute was a constant thumbing of the nose to the fans, teams, sponsors, officials and down the line. I will say a few prayers that someone can wrestle the place away and bring it back it back close to where it was before it landed in the hands it eventually did. At my highest point of optimism, I thought for a few years it was just a case of cluelessness on how the place was mismanaged and continually declined. Make NO mistake, the fans knew, the teams knew, the staff knew and all that were involved knew it. This was inevitable, but now there is ZERO doubt just how much the big cheese really cared about the entities that supported it as long as they did including myself as a fan and sponsor over the yrs, partially doing my part in seeing the place be successful. Hopefully someone with a much higher love of the sport will step up. If not, I will attend other venues and sponsor elsewhere. There is only ONE reason for this going down like this. If ya really wanna know, ask a long time fan, team, driver, sponsor, or official what that reason is

Having said all that, I am truly grateful that it stayed open as long as it did and saw many many great shows in spite of the self inflicted wounds. I wonder if the staff I spoke with at NES feels about all of us taking it on the chin for the STSS show they purposely delayed. They asked me if I thought it was done on purpose. You can guess what my answer was. |

Al you people in NJ do is complain about your tracks. You bitch about NES. You bitch about Bridgeport. Nobody is making a dime running a track in 2026. Yes the STSS scheduling was a joke but Deyo keeps losing tracks every year. |

I generally don't respond to ignorance, but I will say I have issues with NY........I have sons in Maine and I have to travel through there to get there, but I make sure I don't spend a red cent outside of tolls. I won't buy a potato chip there, you can guess why or maybe you can't. I won't respond back again but have at it if ya feel the need |

I can see you are still the last part of the horse over the fence. You will never change, so just STFU.

I don't come on here to enflame things, it attracts keyboard muscle maniacs. I have a pretty good idea that if we were standing next to each other you would probably dial it back a wee bit. I have no problem responding to civil discussions, this will be my last response to the keyboard muscles though. |
